2. What this site collects

Server log files

When you open this site, your browser automatically transmits data that the hosting provider stores in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the site reliably and to detect technical faults and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted or anonymised after a short retention period set by the hosting provider.

Contact form

If you use the booking form, the name, email address, and message you enter - plus the optional event date and venue - are transmitted to us so that we can respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and, for general enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them and to meet any statutory retention obligations.

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which receives the submission and forwards it to us by email, acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.

Email

If you contact us by email, the address you write from and the content of your message are processed solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are visited. Plausible sets no cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track visitors across sites or over time; the statistics it produces are aggregated and cannot be traced back to an individual. Data is processed on servers in the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See the Plausible privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels, so no consent banner is required.

Fonts and images

All fonts and images are served from this site's own servers. No content is loaded from Google Fonts or comparable third-party CDNs, so your browser does not connect to them when you visit.

External links

Links to Instagram and other external sites simply take you there; no data is transmitted to those services until you follow the link. Their own privacy policies apply from that point on.

3. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have your data erased (Art. 17);
  • restrict processing (Art. 18);
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time, with future effect (Art. 7(3)).
